haha, so i walk into a shop yesterday because the one i usually go to.... has a substandard "completion rate" and a lot of things i have to fix myself... which is a pain in the ass in the cold.

so this shop guy walks up to me and says, hey man is that your cavalier? i go, yes sir it is.
and then he starts talking about how he loves what ive done with it, and that he tooo has a cavalier.
he is ASE certified, and we had a really nice conversation about his cavalier, and my cavalier... likes and dislikes, and all the stuff he could help me do to my car...

he offered me a set of 17" falken torque 5's which, arent my style (black w/ machined lip) but still it was a nice gesture. apparently he married a girl i used to be friends with in high school" - small world eh?
so he has all kinds of parts from his, that he is trying to get rid of because he just picked up a truck and another car cheap.

he also helped me out a bit on the price of some work that needs done...
trans pan gasket, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, new coolant hoses, just basic stuff, but its reallly nice to have a unique car. just thought i would share.
apparently he also has a turbo kit and a 3K$ custom bodykit at his house, which may go on the cavalier if he decides to keep it. i wish i had the money for most of this stuff, because its all in great condition....
so my car should be mainly fixed up and get some routine maintenance done before next friday. im super excited!!

My mechanic refused to quote a price on a clutch install becuase he hates cavaliers.
