I just installed my new upper motor mount on my 2.4 its a (Turbo tech racing one) And I notice that the whole car shakes to the vibe of the motor when it idles! does anyone else have that problem? Just wondering if its normal with the new mount?

Yes, it's a common issue. You sacrifice the smoothness of the stock mount by stiffening it up and the rest of the car feels the vibrations. The result is less engine roll when starting off but more noise. You either get used to it or get rid of it.

Few things:

Raise your idle, if possible. Higher RPM will smoothen out the vibs.
The mounts will break in and you will have less vibs over time.

It is stated by the GM manual. It is up to the owner to do as they wish
