I know this is a little vauge, but I am getting a strange noise when I turn my wheel to the right. I get it at low speeds and it gets louder at high speeds. It almost sounds like a humming noise at high speed and a rubbing noise at lower speeds. The harder I turn to the right, the louder it gets. I only notice it when I turn the wheel to the right. I have already checked everything underneath, well at least what I could immediately think of. I am not able to record the sound(although that would help) so the best thing I can do is describe it. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Sounds like your l/f hub bearing.
When you turn to the right it loads more weight on it.

how do I check that? I know I have to take the wheel off right? I just have no clue what I am looking for. Any pics or people that have done it would be appreciated

Lift the front of the car in the air, and check for lateral play in the wheel and hub. Also, don't be surprised if it is actually the right-front wheel instead -- the last couple of bearings I've needed replaced were on the wheel that got noisier when it had the load
taken off of it in the turns.
Here's a step-by-step of what's involved in replacing these things. Expect to pay about $200 for the "hub/bearing assembly".

I just did mine a couple weeks ago and paid like $82 for the hub assembly with a 1 year warranty at AutoZone. I also did the work myself.
