I pulled the cap of the overflow, and there is black residue lining the sides. What do you think this might be? What should I use to flush and clean with? What brand name coolant do you recommend?
that black stuff is the main reason i HATE dexcool. flush it with either water or zerex super rad flush, refill with anything but dexcool. never look back, and enjoy the money you save by not using dexcool.
