What would I need to put cruise control in my Base Model Cavvy (ie. no cruise). It's a 2004 2.2 5 sp.

Anybody know? No one's ever done it?

um i didnt know that 2004 even had a option to not have it

aghhh. i just did this in my car 96 2.2 OHV. it was VERY easy and took all of 30 minutes. heres some stuff for you to gander at.

in the end the only wires you have to splice in to are a pink wire for the power, black/white wire for ground, green/white wire for VSS and thene theres a green and i think greyish blue color. i pinned the green wire and bluish grey color in the the stock harness where the plug is at the firewall. im not sure WHAT wire those are. but i got mine working on the first try. VERry easy. also there is a Purple wire that needs to be spliced in to the break light switch.

UHHHH, yeah they did. Base model and SVM (Special Value Model) cars.
