would anyone know the cause of my lights in the dash keep lighting up for no apparent reason?
my passlock light and service will come on randomly, sometimes the airbag light will come on, the ets light also comes on.
those are random, sometimes they will come on, sometimes for days they wont
but constantly, when i turn on my headlights, my right signal light in the dash keeps glowing. its not as bright as if I had my signal light actually activated, but it keeps glowing, and when I press my brake pedal, if affects the brightness of the glow

one thing that I should mention is that last week my check engine light came on and it gave me the code p0122, TPS low voltage.
would that have anything to do with it? any ideas?

well for you right turn signal, when you put it on does it go on normally, for stay steady on? If it is steady on you have a burnt out light bulb that needs to be changed. The rest of your problems I don't have a clue, I have a weird problem with my cav the radio (which isn't stock) keeps turning off at random (I think it is a loose wire but I will need to check).

if I put on my signal light, it will work normally.
and my radio doesnt turn off, but when I press the brakes, the lights dim(mine is stock).

i'm still wondering if this TPS low voltage, which I think can be that it isnt grounded properly, would be the cause of all of this

well, I was reading on (a 2.4l high idle issue) that sometimes a bad tps sensor can cause all kinds of unrelated problems!! so maybe! Has the TPS low voltage code returned?

well I have the problem of my ETS light coming on, and when it does, the whole no power, low idle, hard shifting problems occur. now about every 3-4 times that this happens, my CEL will show up, and thats the code and it gives me. I reset it, and its fine for a little while. so i'm pretty sure that once I change my TPS, or ground it properly, that problem should stop. now i'm jusdt hoping that once i fix that problem, that this problem with all of my lights showing up randomly will stop to, since it does look like a electrical problem(TPS not ground properly)

i had that problem to after, i got my engine in, my lights came on when ever they wanted and i found a loose ground tightened it problem gone!

well it's good to know that at least it is a possibly that it will fix it. this saturday, I will be checking the wiring that goes to the TPS, and may even replace the TPS if necessary.

I just thought of another thing. although it could be a couicidine, it seems the problems started happening not lon after I changed my flasher reley, because my flashers were not working properly. after I changed the reley, they seem to be working fine, which they still are, but like i said, the right signal light keeps glowing ever so slightly in the dash. maybe that could be another cause?

here the TPS' are 75$ new, but in a junk yard I can get one for about 25$. would it be worth getting a new one or would a junkyard TPS work?

Try the ground cable on your battery box. Common problem.

Agree and check bulbs and sockets for corrosion or dried dielectric grease.
