Catalytic Converter Bolts

I'm planning to replace my exhaust from the converter back and already know that the bolts from the exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter are going to need cut or drilled to be removed. The current bolts are mostly deteriorated.

Does anyone know what size and/or type of bolts/nuts I need to buy for this? I won't be able to tell by removing the existing ones.

since they arent threaded into the flange itself you can just cut or grind it off........then you can match it up to the size you need

So you're saying to just go buy some bolts and nuts at the local hardware store? Any specific type?

F.Y.I.

3/8" x 1-1/2" ended up work great for this application. I used stainless.
