I was wondering how you can tell if an ignition coil goes bad? Cause when I am driving down the road and speed up from constant speed, or get on the pedal from a dead stop my car seems to miss I guess is what it is. Cause for a second or so my car seems to just loose power and it comes right back. BTW my car is a 95' GT with the 2.3 DOHC, with 140k on it. Any help would be appreciated.

mine was simular to that, was running on 3 cyls sometimes some times fine when you smashed the gas it would miss like half way through the gear and when shifted itll back fire out the intake. it was the coils mines a 97 2.2
