I'm in the processs of gathering parts for a getrag 5 spd. swap and i was wondering if the Clutch master cylinder was the same from a 95-99 to a 00-02? Also do i need the brake master cylinder on the firewall to or just the clutch since mines a 98 and im switchin eveything to a 00-02 setup?
Hmmm, are you switching trannys because you are getting a noise when shifting gears, thus you believe your tranny is gone?
The reason I am asking is because I had a problem with my 99 Z24 recently, 2nd and 3rd gear were hard to access without a hearing a noise (like a synchromesh problem),. The solution was in the shifter, not the tranny. Simply the shifter and cables in the centre console needed oil.

NO the 95-99 and 00+ clutch master's are not the same. Are you just swapping tranny's? If so why are you swaping brake master then?
