Is there a specific service interval on the timing chain or is it common practice that if the timing chain tensioner died to replace everything at that time?

i have learned when something goes out in timing, replace it all. weel with timing chains. cars that have the timing belt is a little different. so on and so forth. but yeah i would replace everything just to make sure. having your timing go out could be detremental to your car
