i picked up 95 that runs for @!#$. it boggs down and hesitates when you push the accelrator. i removed the fuel pressure regulator and cycled the ign a few time and it seemd as if it was squirting a lil fuel, but not a big sloppy mess of fuel like i wouldve anticipated. i also lost the regulator screw when i had it removed, anyone know what size it is? how about if its actually my fuel pump thats bad,, where should i start?

really people, i need the help!

i would start at the fuel filter, then maybe check how much PSI you are getting through the pump.

how do i test the pressure, there is no prt on my fuel rail.

replacement pump, just the guts though, i might go this route if i can determine that it is is the pump definatively

Like ryan said, you need to start with the filter, sounds like it maybe clogged. and i also donot know what size the screw is.

honestly, start at the filter. next, go to the pump. instead of getting the ebay pump, do the blazer pump swap. the pump is a better flowing, higher pressure pump, that can be bought at your local parts store for the same cost as the one on ebay.

filter first, got it. as far as the pump goes the blazer thing is ok if you want performance, but the cavalier is where i go for performance, ive got a trans am and a g6 gt for that. i dont want to have to mess with a new regulator and all that, i just want it to run

no need for a new regulator. just swap the pump in and go.
