the car runs fine, it does run a little hot, because the fans dont turn on until 205ish.....but now, whenever i shut the car off, coolant comes pooring out the overflow. i just started doing it. i am so sick of this car, its ridiculous. everytime we fix something, there something else. any ideas as to why? t-stat and water pump are brand new (500km)

did u happen to over fill the radiator? that's all i can think of, i made the same mistake lol

its been running fine for about 500km, then just started doin it. its had several heat cycles through the motor

sounds to me like it is getting too hot.. check your radiator isn't blocked or plugged up, and possibly replace the radiator cap... if that doesnt work, try replacing the cooling fan trigger switch..could also be the beginnings of a bad water pump or a blown head gasket...but try those things first!

im thinking rad cap. head gasket, waterpump, everything in the motor is brand new. but we did have a tough time getting the overflow cap on...not sure why. but then i dont know why it would just start doing it all of a sudden

Replace the overflow cap.

i guess you should double check and make sure the overflow cap is TIGHT.....lol. twas a long day, wow.

The spring in the overflow cap can get weak over time, replacement would be a very good idea.
