This year my car developed a vinegar sent. It ussually happens after very humid days, and normally just when I turn the ac on. Today however the smell was just their when I got in the car in the morning.
where could i be getting a vinegar smell from?
Someone is probably messing with you and pouring vinigar in your vents (between you hood and windsheild). There's nothing in your car that should smell that way.
I'm not joking here, have someone watch your car, or put a camera on it, I'm willing to bet thats what is going on. You havent pissed anyone off lately have ya man ?

haven't seen any cat paws on my car.
Its getting worse too. freaking stinks when I turn the ac on for the first 2-3 mins. ughh.
do you smoke? ciggarettes? if you run air when you smoke.. the tar will build up in the vents.. and later when you turn on the ac for some cool air, it will smell like someone beefed in your face

i did read up buy just searching stinky ac on google.
its probably a moldy evaporator core somewhere in the dash, have to try a product called frigi-fresh. its supposd to kill the mold.
only other opition is to take the whole dash apart find the core, clean it up/kill all the @!#$ on it. ughh.
Bah, spray Lysol into the cowl vent while the A/C is running, blower on high. Not MAX A/C though. Getting to the core itself is a project, the whole dash has to come out.
