Well I got a throttle/idle issue. When coasting with the car in neutrual the car's RPM gague and motor like to raise up to 2000 RPM's. When coming to the stop the car will also almost die. I notice it gets worse when the air conditoners on.
Any clue guys? This has been mind boggling for quite some time.
What car do you have and what engine??
Try and cleaning the throttle body, and the idle air passage with carb cleaner, a buddy of mine had a simlar problem with a dodge 2.2l motor he cleaned the idle air passage and it has work perfectly since.
This is my 5 cents worth, (normally is would be 2 cents worth but I have adjusted it for inflation)
Car I drive:
99 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L 5 spd man (My daily car)
98 Ford Escort ZX2 4 spd auto
It sure sounds like the IAC too me, but make sure before you replace it because they are not cheap.
