Hey folks,
I just got back from a vacation, where I didn't drive the car for about 15 days or so. Its a 2001 cavy z24 with AEM intake, and 3 inch exhaust. When I got back, I noticed that when I first start it, AND after it has warmed up, it idles at just under 1500 RPM. The ABS light also came on when this started happening. It drives fine, has the same amount of power, but there is a "hissing" sound comming from under the hood, that i have never noticed before. This leads me to think that it is a vacuum leak somewhere, probably related to the brake system (would explain the ABS light). I looked at all the vacuum hoses I could find and couldn't find a split, and I can't tell exactly where the sound is comming from. Does anybody have any ideas, or is there a hose that commonly cracks???? There is about 68,000 miles on it, and I also have both upper and lower motor mounts, so the engine doesn't move back and forth all that much. Thanks for any help you can give me
Chris
