I know this doesn't COMPLETELY apply to this forum, but I need help quick and I think this is my best shot.
THE PATIENT: 1995 GRAND PRIX SE SEDAN; VAC. ISSUE
To make a long story short, last Friday we un-installed the amp wiring from my girlfriends old car. I had to take the airbox off to get to the battery (if you know this motor, you know how tight the area is.) Since it was raining, miserable and dark out, it was a rushed job. On Monday, we swapped in a new battery as well. Well, in the process, we found the tube (below) sitting along-side the battery tray. It felt like it may've been hooked to something in the radiator area but the other end was hanging free. Soooo, this tube came off.
Needless to say, the car won't stay running now. It starts, yet dies if you take your foot off the gas. I'm guessing the mystery tube is a vac. line but I can't figure out WHERE the hell it goes. I really, really need to get this thing running so we can sell it. It's a stupid problem but a problem none-the-less. If it helps, the tube is about 1.5' long and the diameter of a larger straw. Hope someone can lend some assistance. Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!!
I would start looking where vacum lines connect. There arent a whole lot of them. Look around your TB area, around the upper intake manifold, shouldnt be to hard to find a fitting where no line is
