I normally have a problem starting my 2200 cavaier when it has been sitting for a while. Like today, I worked a 8.5 - 9 hour shift and it had a heck of a time starting. It just doesn;t seem like it wants to turn over. Could it be as simple as doing a sparkplug change, new starter or new wires? I'll try to take a video of it tomorrow morning with my digi cam, so you all can see what I am talking about. The car has about 85,000 miles on it. About a year and a 1/2 ago, I put a new alternator, battery and thermostate.
Also, I can't remember the last time I changed my spart plugs, so I guess its probably a good time to do that. My fuel filter was replaced at or around 70,000 miles and I recently had an oil change using 10w30 at the local dealership.
Any suggestions?

Cranks slowly, or just doesn't want to fire off? If its cranking slowly, go ahead and have the battery and alternator tested at a parts store, just to eliminate them as a problem. If they are good, the starter itself COULD be getting weak, building up alot of resistance in the motor windings to where it doesn't want to work efficiently, Thats a longshot, as it'd be more likely to do that when its hot, not cool.
