Is my batter always supose to be supplying power. Also is my cig lighter always supose to be on.
yes, your radio has a constant draw, as does the ecu. the cigarette ligher socket always power GOING to it, but its not actually ON unless you push the button in to make it hot.

The SOCKET is always on, but the lighter itself is not, but we all knew what you meant.
