Well, the clutch/bearing went out on my compressor, and I had a nearly new compressor assembly with clutch sitting around, so I replaced it with the newer one. Mt question is, other than the seals, is there anything else that I should replace before I take it somewhere to be recharged? Should the dryer/accumulator be replaced? Not sure if it is recommended or not...

Also, where is the orifice tube located? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Yes replace the accumulator. Most aftermarket compressors require you to replace it for the warranty.
And the I believe the orafice tube is under the rad support around the high side connector.
Can any one confirm where the orifice is located on a 1997 z24

^X2 Its in the upward facing line coming from the condensor, on the top left as looking toward rear of car. Hard to get a wrench in there, I had Firestone do it when I did my A/C fixes. Good luck.
