Hey,Just wondering if anyone here ever had this problem,i replaced the motor in a 2000 sunfire with a 98 engine,2.4l..and as soon as i connected the negitive to the battery the motor started to turn over?and the key isnt in the switch????So after i descided to remove the starter and test it,it was ok,,so i put it back in and i started it and it ran fine so i turned it off and when i went to start it back up,the starter stayed stuck on,so i bought a new selonoid and changed it and it still starts as soon as i put the negitive on the battery and again,no key is in the switch??,,anyone have any ideas 4 me,,????

If you have not fixed it by now and you can take a picture, someone will be able tell you which wire is in the wrong place.
