this started about a week ago. i have a 2001 z24 and the windshield wipers and the headlights are acting strange. I walked out to my car one day and it unlocked normally. i go to turn on my headlights and i get nothing, my corners and tail lights light up no problem, checked the fuses and bulbs all was good. so i disconnected the battery, waited about 15 min, reconnected it and it did the same thing...then 5 min later everything went back to normal. but before everything went back to normal everytime i went to turn on my headlights the driver side door would unlock itself...wtffff.for about a week it was okay then all of a sudden today it does the same thing again, but this time i notice the windshield wipers will barely move like an inch at the most and it just makes a humming noise. right now i have the batt disconnected and will check again? but are these things that the bcm controls? and i do have a deck wired up with the tap off the wipers but everything was working fine before for like a month....i have no idea whats going on...anyone???

I would disconnect that wire hooked up to your deck and wire it up properly,that is probably the problem but then again your wiper motor could be gone or on it's way.

i tired disconnecting it but i had the same result...i have no idea, i was searching and i found something similar to my situation but im not completely sure on what the person did to solve this

thats the person who had the exact same problem but i dont know what they mean about the main wiring plug is that the giant grey harness by the intake?
