I could be a bad wheel speed sensor. I had one go bad and as soon as the car would move it would trigger the trac off and service light.
Would It Damagethe Car To Drive With The Light On ..Thx
If it was a wheel speed sensor, you'd most likely have an ABS light as well...
You can drive with it, yes.

mine never went on when my wheel speed sensor was bad.
If the trac light goes on, for me it tells me something is wrong, 1. my cooling fans will turn on even when the engine is cold and ac is off, my car shifts really hard, and then finaly my trac light will turn off, then evently a check engine light will appear.
or it could be what they said.
ya i got the same problem as well...i believe it might be the abs speed sensor..i turn my wheel slightyly sitting still and abs light service light and trackion light comes on..you throwing it in drive they come on to..
check the IAT sensor (the small sensor plug on the intake tuibe... might be the case... not sure though...
