I have noticed alittle puddle of water/coolant on the ground lately. It is running down and out right behind driver side wheel (approx.).Has anyone else had this problem, and what was it?

Check the black outlet on top of your engine beside the power steering pump, thier is a large o-ring that may need replaced, just pinch the hose a few times and look close to see if any coolant comes out or bubbles, this is very common on the 2.4 engines, when I did my car I replaced the black outlet and large o-ring and small o-ring for about $35.00 CAN, if this is your problem make sure you clean the area before putting the new outlet and o-ring on it is a little tricky trying to keep the o-ring on the black outlet when installing it, and do not use any sealant for this it dose not call for it, it will just eat up the the new o-ring. I think when you install the sending unit for the coolant back in it dose require sealant. hope this helps.

Mine just started leaking coolant and it appears to be coming from the same general area. I have not determined if the housing and o-ring are the culprit or if the heater hose is leaking. But, reading this thread and other related ones has been really helpful!
