AC compressor 5/8 or 3/4 port?
Wednesday, July 04, 2007 2:11 PM
Did a search, and found out that the AC compressors came with either a 5/8" or 3/4" suction port. I have a '00 Cav with the 2200 engine, and am wanting to know if anyone else who has this engine and replaced the compressor knows which one they bought. I know I can just go unbolt the hoses from the back of the compressor, but ATM I am tired, doped up on narcotics (toothache) and just haven't got the time today. thanks.

Well, went to O'rielly's and bought a rebuilt compressor, measured and it ended up being 5/8". God I can't wait till Firestone gets done with it, I miss cold air in my car.

Fixed. Forgot how noisy it is with the motor mounts installed.
