can't figure out misfire

I'm still having problems with my car, and I'm running out of ideas. The car is missing and running pretty rough at idle. Acceleration is almost impossible. The car stumbles during acceleration and deceleration. Sometimes it will have a hard time holding a constant speed. The idle is kind of jumpy like a vacuum leak, and the rpms jump a bit when I push in the clutch. I am also getting some smoke from my exhaust. Its hard to tell the color because it is pretty faint, but it looks to be blue or white. A while ago I had raw fuel leaking out of my header so I was hoping maybe one of the cylinders wasn't receiving spark. I did the old school method today and pulled the spark boots off one at a time to see if it affected the engine idle. All of the cylinders were affected and there was spark at each plug wire. The plugs and wires are brand new. I'm thinking the coil packs are probably ok since the wires are getting spark. I'm going to disconnect my exhaust after the header today and see if my cat is clogged. I don't see how that would be causing the car to run rich, but it could at least be part of the problem. Does anybody reccomend I go into more advanced means of checking ignition? I am thinking about inspecting the ect sensor, o2 sensor, and fuel pressure. Those are some of the reasons i thought could be causing the rich conditions. I had an injector code earlier so I switched the injectors around and it switched to a random/multiple cylinder misfire. yay. Now I am codeless and confused. If somebody could help me out I would be uber excited. I'm ready to take it to a mechanic, but I hate having other people work on my car. I also hate paying people to work on the car. lol. Sorry for the novel.

well yesterday about half an hour after I posted I unbolted the cat. The car is running perfectly fine. I guess I have an excuse to finally replace everything.

I guess youre CAT was the cause of the problem.
