where does everyone get there car service manuals for jbodies 00 and up. i have tried all of my local auto parts store and all have said the same thing that they dont make a manual for an 05 chevy cavalier or anything above 2000. i even went as far as to call to local chevy dealerships and both of them said the same thing they dont make/ have any service manuals and the service techs are the ones who i need to speak with about any repairs. So i spoke to one and he said they dont have any manuals.
Now personally i think its bs that the dealerships service dept doesnt have any car manuals. I seriously doubt any of the techs let alone all of them know the inside and out and every nut and bolt and specs wheather it be torque specs or anything else on all gm cars. So please any help would be greatly apreachiated thanks

Call parts, not service, for GM repair manuals.
The Cavaliers from 2000+ are all the same except for sheetmetal and engine/PCM differences (most notably the Ecotec). The Helm guide is supposedly what the dealer service dept. uses, check eBay, thats where I got mine, paid 35 bucks shipped for books 1 & 2. Book 3 (detailing tranny repair) is something I have not seen on eBay yet.
I bought the GM Service DVD which has the electronic version of all the GM service manuals, from 98-05.... every make and model that GM made.... neat stuff, it's searchable too

I bought the two-manual set on the 04 Cavalier/Sunfire from Helm. They are in like-new condition. Paid $135 plus shipping. I will sell them for $85 plus shipping if anyone is interested.
