noise, but gone when i turn right

hey guys, I'm driving a 2000 sunfire, auto 2.2. I have a really bad humm, starts at a low speed and stays with me during all speed. It's there when i press the gas and when i use the brake. It's only leaves when i make a sharp turn to the right. it is mostly there when i'm going straight and i still hear it turning left. I don't undertstand it. I have put two new tires on the front, they are balanced, I put two new wheel bearing's no more then 2 weeks ago. I think maybe it might be a cv joints the one of the left, because i see the rubber came off on the inside to my wheel. Could this cause that noise? Hope you guys can help
Thanks alot.

I'd guess a wheel bearing on the right side. Does it change in pitch at all, like with vehicle speed? Is it noticeably from the front or rear of the car, or the left or right side?

Check all of your fluids as well. I'm not an expert on J-bodies, but various pumps on many cars can make noise when starving for fluid and quiet when lateral force brings the fluid toward the pickup.

hey, thanks for everything, it makes more of a sound when i turn to the left, like a more knocking noise or louder hum, the faster you go the louder it gets, it deff from the front and seem's to be on the driver side but i can't tell. I'm gonna check the wheel bearing, could cv joint cause this?

What did you mean by "the rubber on the inside of my wheel came off"? I'f it's a steady humm it could be an alignment issue too.

So it's more of a knocking rather than a hum? Can you take a sound clip and post it? A lot of digital cameras have mics, and many new cell phones will record video and/or audio.
