Well since ive bought the car i havent got the car running correct. It was a salvage, and was hit on the pass. side which is where the computer is located. Ive had tons of mechanics look at the car.... put computers on it ect., cant figure it out. Ive replaced the common problems what it could be. The car idles rough, when the car hits 1,000 rpms it evens out and runs great, i have to litteraly put my foot on the gas and brake at the same time when im at red lights. As it warms up the worse it idles. I was working on the car this morning and i was under the car and noticed that their was a wire out of the computer harness out. I pulled the computer out and i looked over and over and i dont see where this wire goes. Im hoping this is my idle problem. Can anybody help.

What color is that wire, the flash washed it out, looks pure white to me.

hey mike, the best thing to do is get a manual that has wiring to the computer. a library is a good place. i have a friend that has mitcells on demand that i might be able to get it for you. the wire should go to your computer terminal from the way it looks. i'll get ahold of him. unplug the connector at the ecm and look for a terminal missing a wire. the connector will have a terminal in it with no wire. there will be empty spots but that is normal. pm'd you

hey whats up, ya i unplugged the computer and i dont see a spot at all where the wire should be? i will have to check out the library!

my buddy is going to get me a schematic on that ina day or two, i'll let you know. i'm off friday so maybe we can get together then and figure it out.

get out a multi meter and test the prongs on the ecu plug until you find the one that has contiunity on the other end

isn't there another broken wire in the area? normally a random wire doesn't appear on one side.. there should be another broken wire up there thats the same color.. connect em together and presto
