guage failure with video

okay so this hasnt happened for about 3 months.... it has only happened in the mornings, and it will be out of the blue. So Im driving about 10mins into my daily drive to work, and then all of a sudden the THEFT, SERVICE ENGINE, CHECK GUAGES lights come on, and the gas gauge and temp will drop to off. I have no CEL on during this time, the car keeps driving fine, but the temp will go on and off, and the gas will show empty. when I get to work and shut off I will re start and it will as if nothing has happened. Im really bamboozled about this and would like some adivce. I caught it on my cell as I as driving to work the other day, sorry for the poor quaility but you can see the gauges go on and off randomly. http://s55.photobucket.com/albums/g159/derekforeel/?action=view¤t=06-11-07_0642.flv

Bad Gauge cluster sounds like. try replacing it and see if that fixes the problem.

check the connector on the back of the cluster. sometimes the terminals in the connector loosen up. or a wire can come out of the terminal. if all the wires are tight then like sirmeza said, could be the cluster.

I've had the same problem a few times before.
Last time it wen't further, and the mileage read "ERROR" and the engine shut off, the brakes locked up and well.. it scared me.
