Friday after work I wasn't able to get in my car...locks prior to then were very easy to open. Driver and passenger door were jammed...trunk worked. After a couple minutes I got the passenger door opened, but the drive lock is still impossible.
I believe someone tried to break into my car because I don't see any other reason the locks would all of the sudden be impossible to open. Driver one still doesn't work, tried wd40 and fiddling with it for awhile. What can I do to fix it???

Wouls it be possible to take a pic?.
a pic won't do anything at all...it looks normal, the key goes in like normal and won't turn one bit at all. I have to unlock it from the inside. Tried for quite a bit of time and used wd40...NOTHING it won't budge.

Might have to just take the cylinder out and fiddle with it or replace it

I am pretty sure youre lock tumblers inside the lock are hooped, I notice with my buddys 96 cavalier my 01 cavalier key opens his door,
is it easy to take the cylinder out? and how much would it cost to replace it?

Yes it easy to replace the door lock cyl, Remove the interior door panel, U will see the door lock cyl, Just pop the metal C-clip detact the other clip on the cyl housing, Youre set, New key cyl lock will run u 15-$20, Maybe $10 more to recode to youre old key. Could be pretty good price at the dealership.
Good Luck.
thanks
so do you guys think this was from someone trying to break in?

Well The usual sign of breaking into youre car would either u got the bottom portion of youre key lock would have pry markings on youre paint, Like I say cavaliers are easy for break ins, Up here in Vancouver bc, Cavaliers get broken into alot, in my area, A theft with a flat head screw driver & pair of metal sisscors could enter cavaliers & sunfires in sec's just like a key does, Its crap, Its BS things happen to people at work hard for their cars.
