My girlfriends sunfire is making a clicking noise, not sure where its coming from and speed has no affect on the speed of the clicking. It does seem to happen more when braking, but it does happen when not braking. Any ideas?
We might need a better description than that, but my first guess would be a bad CV joint (axle shaft), or wheel bearing. Can you feel it in the steering wheel while turning or at full lock?
Could be a CV going or possibly a front brake pad coming apart or de-laminating.
