Hello
I flicked my but out the window but the wind caught it. Next thing I know, it landed in the back seat and burned a hole in my back seat.
What 's the best way to go about fixing it?

Full interior makeover, paint the dash, re-upholster the seats, new carpet and headliner, 'glass the door panels, new shift boots, and redo the back dash under the window. That should fix your burn quite well!

Hey walter just to let ya know, most people around here like to give smokers crap. I smoke so I'm on your side though. Do you have vinyl or cloth seats? That info would help alot. I havn't ever seen a patchjob that looked good but I suppose it can be done. I don't know where to find one for sure, I would start calling auto supply stores and just ask. I would probably look around local salvage yards and try to find a matching back seat cushion, and just replace it. Here's a trick I do ever since I lit the back seat of my taurus on fire...Make sure your rear windows are up (if you have them), and instead of flicking the butt out the window, hold your left arm out the window all the way to where your in contact with the upper rear corner of the window, hold your hand over the roof, and let go of the butt, you'll never have it land back in the car again.

good luck with the seat, and just ignore the anti-smokers around here.
Since you are not likely to qit smoking till it kills you, Nomex seat covers may be the only practicle alternative!
The problem on this site is that most people here are barley over the age of 20, there's quite a few members still in high school or at least in there teens. These people are still in the (your stupid to smoke, and I have to rebel because I'm gunna make a difference) stage of there lives. Give it up, people that smoke know it's bad for them, stop telling them, and stop forcing your opinion on people because nobody cares. I'm going on 27 (christ I'm almost 30

), and I know better than to do that. I smoke, and it's my choice, heck If I wan't to jump of a bridge its nobody's buisness but mine, and I'm not going to critisize someone else for it either. This site is about cars, not peoples opinions on smoking. If you can't help him with his seat problem, than keep to yourselves.
I had bought a Berreta a long time ago from the dealership and it had a small burn hole that was not all the way through, they patched it and gave me an extra patch kit with color matching materials.I can't remember what all is included in the kit but you might want to start at the dealer then look around at your local autoparts stores

At the dealership we used to get a guy in to patch, vinyl /cloth, dashes and seats and stuff. He did a really good job, ususally you couldn't tell there was ever anythign there. but if you are not a big dealer doing lots of cars at once, it would probably cost about as much as replacing the whole seat.
