I am looking at getting a rebuilt cylinder head and was wondering does the casting number's have to match? I have a 2002 2.2 OHV and I see a ton of 2.2's but they all have different numbers even if they were from the same year range. Please let me know!

Also the casting number is underneath the valve cover inside the head right?
