Go to a GM dealer, and ask for a new one. The part number is 88894187.

When you do that, come back here and tell us how much it's going to cost you... I guarantee you, it'll be an arm and a leg (or two). I'm curious how much they really want tho.

Most auto part stores will give you a rebuilt one.

You could pull one from a junkyard much cheaper.

Can you still get new LD9's? (not to tread jack). I'm gunna need one eventually. (build up a new engine instead of the old oil burning one).

If your looking to save money, but still wan't something in good shape (not molested by previouse owner) your best bet would be to get a fully rebuilt one from checkers or somewhere. Just remember about break in periods.

BTW, there's an alternative to GM Parts Direct, many parts are cheaper, some a lot cheaper: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=11&i=124808&t=124808
