Ive now replace the cluster, and the vss
i then inspected the vss wire as far as i really could which was all good.
My speedo.. past about 70 or so when i let up on the gas , twitches very quickly like if im going 70 on the freeway let up on the gas it will twitch to like 60 real quick and go back to 70. It makes it impossible to use cruise control. Im beginning to think i have to live with it and its something internally in my tranny?

no other possible things really
My gf's speedo went all wacko when she was on the gas at all (it seemed to completely randomly jump from anywhere between 0-100 no matter what speed she was going) for a couple weeks, then it mysteriously fixed itself. Never had a problem again after that.

weird.. im thinking mine is in tranny.. its ONLY at higher speeds..
but i forgot to mention earlier it only twitches at higher speeds but the whole thing has a delay.. like a 1/4 of a second if i stop it goes to zero 1/4sec. later. Also when im slowing down it seems to be overall slow. i dont know wut the hell it could be like i said i changed the VSS no metal on it at all.. and i changed the cluster today.. same thing
