Hey guys I have a small leak coming from the base of my dipstick tube on my ohv, and the guy I normally talk to at autozone is off today. I had to deal with some kid who doesnt know his ass from a hole in the ground. Basically I'm looking for the gm part number for this little gasket so i can order it through gm parts direct. any helpwould be greatly appreciated.

Well, i tried looking up the info here at work this morning, but i can't find a listing for the dipstick seal, sorry....i woould think it might be like an oring that goes on it, if so you might be able to take it down to autozone or any other parts store and see if they can match one up for it. sorry for not being anyother help for ya.

Thats cool I apreciate the response. Its a seal thats about 1inch long and has a lip on one end. I think its just worn out from age as the current motor is out of a junked sunturd. I'm going to see if I can get away with just using one of the universal orings i have at my dads house.
