P0113 (Intake Air Temperature sensor circuit, excessively high voltage)
So ive had this code for awhile now. I was just wondering if anyone has figured out what causes it. Ive already changed out my sensor and replaced the harness that plugs into it. I can clear it but it comes back on after like 5 minutes of driving. Wont come on if idling for awhile.
Im kinda lost here. I just want to get rid of it for once in for all.
Thanks for the help
Nick
hmm that sucks, i keep throwing that same code on my 04 but it comes and goes its not as often as yours is. i havent replaced the sensor or harness yet though. where you get the harness at? how much? i may end up doing that myself if i keep mine around.
I just got a harness from the junk yard. I got the sensor at aurozone.
Well according to the diagnois flow chart one of the last thing to check on that code if it is found that the sensor is good, is to replace the pcm, it may have a bad curcuit in it. hope this helps.
Double check input voltage to the sensor with a true voltmeter. Double check continuity between the sensor's ground and the battery ground with an ohmmeter. This will identify whether the wiring or sensor is a problem (unless it's intermittent, which it doesn't seem to be)
