Ok, here is the deal......

I have a 1997 Z24, and had a rusty tank. Swapped it out for a plastic tank. Used the sender and pump from the plastic tank. I filled the car with gas the other day and when i was filling the top portion of the tank it started to leak out. Once it leaked about a litre it stopped and was fine....

Did i do something wrong ? Hook something up wrong ?? What could be the problem ??

any help is appreciated....

Have you double checked all the lines and filler tube hoses for clamps tightness, Also the tightness for the sending unit area as well.
