has anyone been inside a cat on a 04 cavy? are they easy to empty out? is it just honeycomb inside or is it bead?

Your cant empty them out. When its clogged, it means its time to pony up for a new one.

you can gut it if you want, but thats then it has no function.

Depending where you live, its also illegal.

Not to mention that unless you've seriously messed up your car, there is virtually no way a 3 to 4 year old catalytic converter is plugged.

Even it it was, it's under warranty....so get it fixed properly/legally...for free.
