Car pulls left, auto tras mount?

Under acceleration car pulls left, allready checked the aligment, balancing and rotated the tires a friend suggests the auto trans mount, can someone give me a light on this?

If it was a transmission mount you would likely notice more vibrations and possibly clunking from the transmission being able to move more than normal, power loss from drivetrain movement may also be noticed. It could also be torque steer if it happens under heavier acceleration. From the details you provided above i assume that it only happens during acceleration if this is not the case one or more of the brake pads or shoes may be dragging causing the car to pull to one side.

Oh yeah. Have someone watch the engine as you put the car in gear, and gie it a touch of gas. Have the parking brake WELL on, and ask if the engine looks to move greatly. Other simple check is to put a wheel in the air and turn it by hand. Different resistance will hint of a 'rolling' induced drift.

Did that test and engine is moving somehow, since I got the upper insert and dog bone in polyurethane which is stiffer I believe the trans mount gave up (itīs 10 years old most probably), so it is being replaced right now, Iet you know after I inspect the old mount.Thanks.

The old mount was not broken although the rubber was kind of soft, anyway got the new mount and car still pulls left most noticeable when launching, could it be the hub? or CV axle? I remember hitting a sidewalk in a curve about a month ago.

I think you need, A wheel alignment done, That should correct youre pulling.

Good Luck.

Mine pulls left too on acceleration, I always thought it was just torque steer from the unequal length axle-shafts, maybe I need to be looking at my tranny mounts, since I already have the RKsport engine mounts.

Alignment is ok double checked. I will keep looking, maybe a wheel bearing.

if it was a wheel bearing you would hear a humming noise coming from your tires. if your cv joint was bad, you would get a clunk sound. check your outter tie rods and see what they look like.

Just throwing something random out...but maybe a bad ball joint? Or maybe something is just loose?

Loose tierod end? that sometimes is the problem on some gm cars.

mine pulled left after getting my sub frame replaced a few years ago, I found that the shop never tightened the a-arm bolts on either side and the a-arms were just bouncing around. Coincidently, it was after hitting a curb sideways at 40mph

Sounds like a bad radial tire. Rotote the tires and see if the pull moves.

i see thread starter has a Z24 so its nothing to do with axle.. both r exactly the same

if u hit a curb check your strut and ur knuckle.. u could also messed up inner or outer tie rod depending how bad u hit

Nothing seems to be loose or bent I rotated the tires and still pulls left more when going uphill, I was told to change the front tires from its rims and try (right rim to left tire and viceversa) , so Iīll do that next.
