I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts to purchase some stock ac delco platium plugs and the boots also. They don't offer and neither does ac delco, all they offer for my ecotec is the ac delco iridium plugs...also when I searched O'reilly autos website for the parts number for the boots I came up with two #'s for my 02:
Item No: SPB106
Item No: SPB110
But when I searched under as an 05 it only comes up with the SPB110.
Are the ac delco iridium plugs going to be fine in my stock ecotec and why would one year of the ecotec have two different parts numbers while an 05 has only 1? Should I take them back and ask to see what the other style looks like?

I don't know about the boots, but the iridium plugs should work very good. Compare the new boots to the stock ones, and use the one that matches more closely and return the others.
