So a quick question, got a hold of a brand new 96-99 2.4L alternator and my alternator on my 01 Z is out. Will i be able to swap em out. I see that they sell different years on websites, but i i mean it is running the same amps on the same block shouldn't it hook right up? The only thing i think that might not match would be maybe the pully (which i am pretty sure they are the same), so in that case maybe i could just swap em out. I don't know, i really need some help on this one. So if any one is outthere PLEASE........

or maybe the harness that plugs in is different?

I have seen different plugs on the end of the alternators wires, but can not remember the years.
