i needto no if changeing the lower ball joints is easy or hard to do and if they need to be pressed in and out cause my lower right side is starting to go out so i can't get an allinment
Lower ball joints are pretty easy on cavaliers and sunfires, I am pretty sure you will need a air chisle or power drill is good drill bits to remove the stock revites from the lower arm, Pull the metal pin from the ball joint undo the nut, Pry the lower ball joint out, grease the new one, install the metal pin clip / Then tighen and torque the three nuts on the lower arm tighten the ball joint nut, Tire back on youre set, I would recommend, doing both ball joints at the same time, Also you will need a wheel alignment done as well, Ok youre will wear out the outter edges on youre tires.
Good Luck.
You DO need an air hammer, and a good one,. I have a $210 Mac one that has trouble sometimes with older cars, so if you dont have a good one let a shop do it.
