It would seem a rebuilt water pump should be one of the easiest for rebuilders
to achieve as high on their art of "rebuilding"..

My opinion, used water pumps have so much corrosion, a reliable rebuild is
difficult...

While rebuilt water pumps are usually fine, and will often last as long as new pumps....

When it comes to 2.4's, I would say go with new....for peace of mind.

Because the 2.4 naturally likes to destroy WP's, and the PITA process to replace it (or the amount of money spent having someone else do it), you want to know that you won't have to replace it again anytime soon.
