Hopefully I am going to pickin up a cavy form a member here and they said the abs light just came on. I did a lot of searching here on the site and what I can gather this is not really a big deal. Its something that can be fixed with a cleaning or replacement of a pretty inexpensive part. Its this pretty acurate info or has anybody had a major issue with this???

only problems i had with my abs light coming on is i lost the abs but abs sucks anyway

Well if you like your ABS to work then you should look in to it, if not don't sweat it. Most ABS problems are wheel speed sensors. You can try and clean the ring and sensor pick up with brake clean. Also look for broken wires, bad/loose & corroded connections in your speed sensor wiring. But the only way to really see what code turned on the light is with a scan tool
