got a quick question...i am a delivery driver for pizza hut....sometimes when my car is on and just sits it over heats a lil bit. for example i delivered to a apartment and had to walk to the 5th floor and they didn't list the room number so i had to go back down grab my phone and go back up there and figure out where they were out...i was probably out of my car for 15-20 mins and came back and my car was over heating a little bit...any ideas?

does it go up to just under the red on the heat gauge?

no it goes just a little past the middle line....not sure what the numer is but it goes just a bit past that middle number

slightly over heating is normal in these cars while sitting in warm weather as long as it dont go into the red

This is the same issue im having with my car...

easy fix is just to put in a fan override switch so you can turn on the fan while the car is parked OR just turn the damn thing off lol

Bingo, mine did that too. Nothing to worry about.

welcome to owning a cavalier. they all overheat! i can't sit at a red light for 30 seconds in hot weather w/o over heating a bit.
