I was just wondering if any of the Ecotec guys were running anything other than the OEM oil filter ??
Im switching to Mobil 1 full synthetic and i was wondering if the regular filter from GM is ok to use.
I run Valvoline full synthetic and Valvoline V0-76 oil filter.
I have a 2200, but I use a K&N Oil Filter, Because AC Delco wasnt available. Anything But Fram!
I use AC Delco OEM filter, but every time I get them they do not come with the seal....I this time I got a WIX oil filter (came with the seal)

i use Purolator Pure1 filter, and castrol syntec oil.

Only Baldwin filters and hastings filters use the crooked pleat material Chevy originaly specified. They're expensive, hard to find, and its a really good bet they are way higher quality than needed. But hey, only the best for my sensibly priced econo-box.
I use Wix filters from O'Reilly's in all our cars now.
