Thsi might be a dumb question but does the computer labeled ABS located under the driver side dash do anything besides handle the abs. It's in the same spot as the ecotec bcm.
Then do our cars have a body control module? if not then how do things like power doors, locks, gauge cluster and stuff work?
Nope. Everything done via, and through, the computer. aka PCM, ECM. In more recent years, stuff like that is at least parially handled through the radio system. Go figure, typical GM.
