wile driving my engine started to sound off almost like a sputtering, and with my foot on or off the clutch she stayed at roughly 2000 rpm's. When i turned the car off she would not start. I tried starting the car after a few times, leaving time for the fule pump to cut in and pressure up, but the car would not start. after a wile i just gave up. after leaving my car for a week, i tried her again just to see and she started fine. this has happened twice. does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?
check your battery connections. Make sure they are nice and tight.
What year is it, and what engine does it have?
It's a 1996 Sunfire 2.2L. I dont think its the connectors to the battery.
Got a CEL? Wild guess here, but TPS sensor may be bad.
