does anyone know the protocol for the OBDII of a 1998 4dr cavalier??......or is there any way that i could find it out...i want to purchace a product...and i need to know the protocol.....

one accepts
OBD-II Protocols:
ISO14230-4 (KWP2000)
ISO9141-2

and costs 60$...

and the other
OBD-II Protocols:
ISO15765-4 (CAN)
ISO14230-4 (KWP2000)
ISO9141-2
J1850 VPW
J1850 PWM

and costs 140$

and i'm on a rather small price budget...so it would be helpful to know which would work....

thanks again guys!!

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
